I wish This Were a Joke

I fear that it is not. My only question: Would he institute the west coast offense?

well now that i''ve officially plugged the hole and come out of the lurker closet... and since i've had a few -whatever-, it looks like as worthy a topic as any for me to respond to. (i don't normally make a habit of ending my sentences in prepositions, but like i said i've had a few -whatever-.) i don't think bill has much to worry about here... OH MY GOD! Are you really a Squeelers fan? on the one hand you could say that you didn't see them loose too much this season... on the other you could say... "except when it counted!" :p

NO! I am so not a Steelers fan! I am a BROWNS FAN ALL THE WAY! Unfortunately, the Browns suck ass, and when it came down to the division this year, I'll take the Steelers over the Ravens every time. I also wished for the Steelers over the Pats - they win too much, and I'm a lover of parity. Alas, it was not to be, Philly is my only hope now...

Pats "win too much"? Apparently that is not counting the years that they, well, didn't win. At all. Or "much" even. And it is remarkable that a bunch of players unknown to most of the world outside of the new england region can pull it off in the big games. Yes, I am a Pats fan . . . and although I cannot deny that football players (in general) have much talent, I believe the Patriots success can be attributed to their coach, and the coaching staff, who prepare the team for the game better than any other coach I have seen. It will be interesting to see what happens when both the offensive coordinator (Notre Dame) and the defensive coordinator (Browns . . . maybe) are gone next year. Anyway, this isn't espn.com, so I'm going to stop now. Just had to counter the "go eagles" with a "go pats." Should be a good game, nonetheless :)
